A young athlete from across India displayed his or her talent with passion during the 34th Sub-Junior National Kho Kho Championship 2024-25. In addition to thrilling matches, exceptional performances, and unforgettable moments, the championship was organized by the Jharkhand State Kho Kho Association and the Kho Kho Federation of India (KKFI).
Results from the boys’ championship
Champions: Maharashtra
In the boys’ event, Maharashtra won the title and came out on top. The team’s strong cooperation helped them achieve an amazing win.
Runners-Up: Telangana
Telangana fought hard and came in second place. Their toughness and skill made them stand out during the whole competition.
Bronze Medalist: Karnataka

Indian Boy Bharat Award: Prasad Balip, Maharashtra

Girls’ Best Defender: Inchra, Karnataka
Because of her defensive prowess, Inchra won the title of “Best Defender” for girls. Her squad excelled because to her unwavering dedication.
Siddhi Bhosale, Maharashtra: Best Attacker (Girls)
Maharashtra’s Siddhi Bhosale won the “Best Attacker” award for her offensive strategies in securing her team’s championship victory.
The ILA Award for Girls: Vedika Tamkhade, Maharashtra
Maharashtra won the “ILA Award” thanks to Vedika Tamkhade’s all-around performance.
Kerala’s Best Disciplined Team
Kerala was recognized for its exemplary sportsmanship and team conduct. They received the award for “Best Disciplined Team.”
The 34th Sub-Junior National Kho Kho Championship featured young athletes who gave it their best. Maharashtra, Telangana, Karnataka, Odisha, Rajasthan, and Tamil Nadu all finished on top in both the boys’ and girls’ categories, which is well deserved. Special awards were presented to specific athletes in recognition of their exceptional qualities.
