Rangareddy and Adilabad Clinch Titles at 58th Senior Telangana Inter-District Kho Kho Championship

Peddapalli, November 10, 2025: The 58th Senior Telangana Inter-District Kho Kho Championship for Men and Women concluded with spectacular performances at the India Mission High School, Peddapalli Town. After four days of thrilling encounters and intense athletic display, Rangareddy lifted the Men’s Championship title after a decade, while Adilabad was crowned Women’s Champion, marking a memorable finish to the state-level event.

Organized by the Telangana Kho Kho Association (TKKA) under the aegis of the Kho Kho Federation of India (KKFI), the championship brought together the finest Kho Kho talent from across the state.

In the Men’s final, Rangareddy outplayed Hyderabad with a decisive 38–28 victory, ending their ten-year title drought. Warangal and Adilabad secured the third and fourth positions, respectively, demonstrating competitive spirit and skill.

In the Women’s final, Adilabad delivered a dominant performance, defeating Rangareddy 26–15 to claim the top honors. Mahabubnagar and Nalgonda rounded off the podium in third and fourth positions, respectively.

The championship witnessed participation from 12 men’s teams and 11 women’s teams, representing districts including Rangareddy, Hyderabad, Warangal, Adilabad, Karimnagar, Nizamabad, Nalgonda, Peddapalli, Khammam, Medak, and Mahabubnagar, along with Telangana Police in the men’s division.

The event culminated with a vibrant prize distribution ceremony, where champions, runners-up, and officials were felicitated for their dedication and contributions to promoting Kho Kho across Telangana.

The 58th edition once again highlighted the growing strength of Telangana’s Kho Kho ecosystem, reflecting the sport’s deep roots and rising prominence in the state.
