28-09-2024; As per news update, Karnataka- In a display of exceptional skill and teamwork, the Vivekananda Kannada Medium School’s U-17 Boys’ Kho-Kho team emerged victorious at the prestigious Mangalore District U-17 High School Kho-Kho Tournament, securing the first position in the tournament held at GHS Nayanadu on 27th September 2024.
Organized by the Department of School Education, the tournament saw fierce competition from various schools across the district, all vying for the coveted top spot. However, it was the team from Vivekananda Kannada Medium School that dominated the field with their strategic gameplay, agility, and outstanding coordination.
Individual Honors In The Kho Kho Tournament

Tharun, a standout performer throughout the tournament, was honored with the Best All-Rounder Award. His contributions in both attack and defense were crucial in leading his team to victory.

Likith, another key player, was named the Best Attacker of the Tournament for his relentless and sharp attacks that kept the opponents under pressure.
Both Tharun and Likith have not only brought laurels to their school but have also earned themselves spots in the Mysore Division Kho-Kho Championship, where they will represent Mangalore at a higher level of competition.
