News room, 29-08-2024; As per news update – As part of the National Sports Day celebrations, a dynamic Kho-Kho competition was held today at the Maharaja Ganga Singh State Stadium in Sri Ganganagar. The event, which aimed to promote traditional sports and foster team spirit among young athletes, saw intense participation from local players.
The competition was graced by Mr. Rajaram Dhaka, Secretary of the Sri Ganganagar Kho-Kho Association, who served as the chief guest. Other dignitaries included Mr. Harmidar Singh Jakhad, Treasurer of the Rajasthan Kho-Kho Association, and Principal Indraj Yadav. Esteemed guests such as Former District Sports Officer Harjinder Singh, and renowned Kho-Kho coaches Surendra Singh and Hukmaram also added to the prestige of the event. Coaches Jyotsna, Priyanka Ghodela, Alka, Sunil, and other sports trainers were present, ensuring that the event was a resounding success.
The chief guest, Mr. Dhaka, honored the winning players by presenting them with medals, recognizing their dedication and skill in the sport.

- Boys’ Category: Maharaja Ganga Singh Stadium team emerged victorious.
- Girls’ Category: The team from 4ML Ganganagar claimed the title.
