Lakhisarai, Bihar – The selection trial for Bihar’s Junior Boys and Girls Kho-Kho Team, set to represent the state at the 43rd Junior National Kho-Kho Championship in Aligarh, concluded successfully today. The event, organized jointly by the Kho-Kho Association of Bihar and the Lakhisarai District Kho-Kho Association, was held at the premises of New Delhi Public School, Suryagarha.
More than 400 young players from various districts across the state participated with great enthusiasm, showcasing their talent and determination. The trials were conducted under the supervision of technical referees appointed by the Kho-Kho Association of Bihar, who assessed players on various skill parameters, including running and agility.
The program was presided over by Abhishek Anand, Director of New Delhi Public School, Suryagarha. Amit Kumar, Secretary of Lakhisarai District Kho-Kho Association, served as the organizing secretary. Chief guests SI Alka Kumari and Alok Sharma from Suryagarha Police Station, along with special guest Neeraj Kumar, General Secretary of the Kho-Kho Association of Bihar, graced the occasion. They encouraged the players, pledging their support to help them excel in their sporting journeys.
Harimohan Singh, Secretary of Munger District Kho-Kho Association, efficiently managed the stage during the event. The young athletes demonstrated outstanding sportsmanship, and the selection trial proved to be a vibrant platform for nurturing talent and promoting the sport in Bihar.
The selected players will now focus on representing Bihar with pride at the national level, aiming for success at the championship in Aligarh.
