News room, 29-08-2024; As per news update – On the occasion of National Sports Day, Kho Kho Association of Bihar has taken a big step to promote Kho-Kho in Bihar. Now Kho Kho Club, Kho Kho Academy and institutional teams will have direct entry in any sports event of Kho-Kho Association of Bihar.
Announcing this, Secretary of Kho-Kho Association of Bihar, Neeraj Kumar Pappu said that there will be some rules and conditions for direct entry which the teams will have to follow. In a way, these teams will become units of Kho-Kho Association of Bihar.
He said that this will also provide an opportunity to bring forward hidden talents. Along with this, the number of competitions will also increase. He said that at present there are many districts where the participation of players is less, the participation of players from such districts will increase.
He informed that on the occasion of National Sports Day this year, Kho-Kho Association of Bihar successfully organized a one-day competition in many districts with the help of district associations in which there was a lot of participation of emerging players.
He said that soon the date of organizing the second edition of Women’s and Men’s Kho-Kho League will be announced. Also, this year the hosting of Khelo India Women’s League has been given to Kho-Kho Association of Bihar, the preparation for which has been started. Apart from this, many selection trials and training camps will also be organized for participation in national competitions.
