Nairobi County Kho Kho Association Concludes Successful Junior Championship

23-09-2024; As per news update, Kenya – The Nairobi County Kho Kho Association, in collaboration with the Kenya Kho Kho Federation (KKKF), recently hosted a successful junior championship that brought together young talent from across the county. A total of seven teams, representing different schools and communities, participated in this thrilling tournament. The championship showcased the vibrant and growing enthusiasm for Kho Kho among Kenyan youth.

The event, hosted at Deendayal Bhavan, provided the juniors and their coaches with a remarkable experience, blending intense competition with the camaraderie of sportsmanship. Each game was filled with excitement, displaying the physical agility, speed, and tactical brilliance that are essential in Kho Kho. Teams in both the boys’ and girls’ categories competed fiercely, making the tournament one of the most engaging and competitive Kho Kho events in recent memory.

Two players were recognized for their outstanding individual performances during the tournament:

  • John Muiruri of Judimo Boys was named the MVP for the boys’ category, having displayed remarkable skill and leadership on the field.
