Patna, November 6: The open selection trials for the Bihar Junior Kho-Kho team will be held on November 17 at New Delhi Public School in Raja Bazar, Suryagarha, Lakhisarai. This event aims to form the Bihar team that will participate in the 43rd Junior National Kho-Kho Championship (Boys and Girls), which is hosted by the Uttar Pradesh Kho-Kho Association under the Indian Kho-Kho Federation. The announcement was made by Neeraj Kumar Pappu, General Secretary of the Kho-Kho Association of Bihar.

In addition to players from Bihar’s district units, other eligible players can also participate. To join, players must bring an original Aadhar card and its photocopy, birth certificate and its photocopy, and two passport-sized photos. Participation is restricted to players registered with the Indian Kho-Kho Federation, who are 17 years or younger as of November 25, 2024, with an index score of 240 or below.

Abhishek Anand, Director of New Delhi Public School, has been appointed organizing chairman for the trials and is overseeing all preparations. He assured that all necessary arrangements have been made, including transport from Lakhisarai station to the venue, along with snacks and meals for participants.

Amit Kumar Singh, ground in-charge and Secretary of the Lakhisarai District Kho-Kho Association, shared that a dedicated court is being prepared for the trials. Several veteran players will also be honored during the event.
The 43rd Junior National Kho-Kho Championship will be held at the Maharani Ahilyabai Stadium in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh, from November 25 to 29.
