Gandhinagar, Gujarat –The National Centre of Excellence (NCOE), Gandhinagar, in collaboration with the Sports Authority of India (SAI), has announced the selection trials for Kho Kho (Men & Women) for the 2025–26 session.
The trials are scheduled to take place on May 14 and 15, 2025, at the SAI Campus, Sector 15, Gandhinagar, Gujarat. Aspiring athletes aged above 14 and below 25 years as of the trial date are eligible to participate.
Candidates must meet at least one of the following performance criteria:
- Representation of India in any international Kho Kho tournament
- Medal winner or participant in National Championships
- Medal winner or participant in National Games, SGFI, Khelo India, or All India Inter University tournaments
Required documents for participation include:
- Date of birth certificate
- Aadhar card
- Sports achievement certificates
- Educational certificates
- Five passport-size photographs
Reporting time for the trials is 7:00 AM sharp on both days. It is important to note that all travel, boarding, and lodging expenses are to be borne by the participants themselves.
These trials aim to identify and nurture top-tier talent for national development under the Khelo India initiative.
