The Odisha AM/NS India Kho Kho High Performance Centre (HPC) has officially announced the list of athletes selected through the Selection Trials 2026, following several days of intense competition and comprehensive talent evaluation.
The selected athletes will now become part of one of India’s leading high-performance training programmes, where they will undergo world-class coaching and scientific athlete development.
Among the notable selections are Nandini Bhuyan, Manini Kanhar, and Shaik Heena in the Sub Junior Girls category, while Sai Prakash Pradhan, Dhananjay Das, and Viraj Verma earned places in the Sub Junior Boys squad.
In the Junior category, players including Subhashree Mallick, Bhakti Anil Turambekar, Saurav Nayak, and Ramlal Birua have secured their selection. The Senior squads feature athletes such as Kadambini Majhi, Archana Pradhan, T. Sankar, Rahul, and Sharad Ghatage, who will now begin the next phase of their high-performance journey.
A total of 58 athletes have been selected across the Sub Junior, Junior, and Senior categories, while 17 athletes have been placed on the standby list. Standby athletes will receive confirmation if additional seats become available or vacancies arise due to non-reporting, injury, or other unforeseen circumstances.
The selections mark the beginning of an exciting new chapter for these athletes as they prepare to train in a professional high-performance environment designed to nurture India’s next generation of Kho Kho stars.
