The much-anticipated Kho Kho World Cup 2025 is just around the corner, and budding talent Aditya Ganpule is aiming to make his mark in this historic event. Hailing from humble beginnings as the son of a newspaper seller, Aditya’s journey is an inspiring tale of hard work, perseverance, and passion for the sport.
Currently working with the Western Railways, Aditya balances his professional commitments with his dedication to Kho Kho. Speaking about the significance of the upcoming World Cup, he shared, “Kho Kho World Cup is coming up, and it’s a huge thing. Sudhanshu Mittal sir and MS Tyagi sir have worked tirelessly to organize this event. Our sport is progressing from playing on mud to mats, and it’s exciting to see a brighter future for players like us.”
The Ganpule family’s life has transformed, thanks to sports. Both Aditya and his brother secured jobs in the railways through the sports quota. What once began with their father selling newspapers has now grown into a better livelihood, with the family running a shop.
