The West Zone Inter-University Kho Kho Championship came to a thrilling conclusion, celebrating outstanding performances, strategic teamwork, and relentless determination from the competing teams. After an intense battle on the field, SRTM University, Nanded, Maharashtra, clinched the title, emerging as the champions, while Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Samjhajinagar, secured the runner-up position.
The championship’s grand closing ceremony was honored by the presence of Shri Shriram Singh Shekhawat, an Olympian and recipient of the prestigious Padma Shri and Arjuna Awards, as the Chief Guest. Adding further prestige to the occasion, Prof. Indu Bohra, Vice Chancellor of Lakshmibai National Institute of Physical Education (LNIPE), graced the event as the Guest of Honour.
