The selection trials for Bihar’s senior men’s and women’s Kho Kho teams, set to participate in the Senior National Kho Kho Championship 2025, will be held on February 16 at Public High School Ground, Suryagarha, Lakhisarai. The trials will be conducted under the aegis of the Kho Kho Association of Bihar and hosted by the Lakhisarai District Kho Kho Association.
Providing details, Neeraj Kumar Pappu, Secretary of the Kho Kho Association of Bihar, stated that all male and female players from various districts of Bihar are eligible to participate. He also announced that Amit Kumar, Secretary of the Lakhisarai District Kho Kho Association, has been entrusted with organizing the event.

A major highlight of the occasion will be the presence of Monika, a member of the Indian women’s Kho Kho team that won the first-ever Kho Kho World Cup. Hailing from Bhagalpur, Bihar, Monika’s presence is expected to boost the morale of the players. A grand welcome and roadshow are being planned in her honor.
Players selected in these trials will have the opportunity to represent Bihar in the Senior National Kho Kho Championship 2025. The organizing committee will provide refreshments and meals for all participants. Players must report by 8 AM at the venue and bring the following documents for registration:
- Original Aadhaar card & two photocopies
- Two passport-size photographs
